Very last roll, too.

Yeah I did it in college for the university, student job. I never tell anyone or they ask me to paint things.

Yes, and after two coats I’m definitely feeling a wee bit lightheaded.
I work with a guy who did interior painting for three years. The kind with the pump and sprayer. He said he’d cough up huge globs of latex paint every morning.

Ugh. Nothing makes renting look so good as owning. And nothing makes owning look so good as renting. Best of luck. I’m procrastinating finishing our interior trim, because then I have to paint. That really is as dumb as it sounds, too.

Then he needs a better respirator! I would still get it in my nose hairs and the corners of my eyes though, even with a good 3m mask. You probably break the seal moving around and it’s the first place it goes.

I could deal with it if it were a job like our painter at the Hospital. He gets $27/hr and works 6am to 2pm Monday through Friday. He has his own paint shop and every tool imaginable to make the job a cake walk.

I rented a professional sprayer once for my old house. What a waste. It took 3x as long as rolling because of the prep needed and cleanup.

Exception rather than the rule though. Many interior painters are disposable — and cheap, both in price and skill.
/jaded by working in lots of cookie cutter housing

Ive worked the same jobs in the past. Yeah. Painter is the least respected of the trades.

Also bad for the lungs, but it could be worse — the tile guys who cut stone and mix grout with no respirators whatsoever, are basically aging their lungs ten-fold.

Ummmm I think you got some chocolate in my peanutbutter? :)
I don’t usually have wall corner problems, but I never fail to leave a wall-color stripe on a ceiling somewhere...

The first time I used an airless spray rig was a disaster. Eventually I figured it out and the results I got w/ the airless rig were way better than what I can produce w/ a brush/rollers. There is a TON of prep though, for sure.
